FOCAL TEXT: 1 Peter 1 vs 1►► ”Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia” ~| NKJV |_____________________________________
BLESSED greetings Cherished one. Every human Bible character had a lifestyle, behavior, attitudes, strengths, weakness and a story. But what makes most of them worthy of learning from is their ability to sail through it all to become all that Papa God had destined for them. Mostly, we take lessons from their flaws and their strengths. Romans 15:4 says “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”; but not everyone learns; some only read and forget or treat it as just a history or story book.
To us who believe the power of the Word, the revelation and inspiration of the Holy Spirit enable us to see and learn beyond what the normal human eyes can see because the Spirit who is our teacher searches all things, and even teach us the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:7-14). Our focal text begins with “Peter” an apostle of Jesus Christ. Let’s examine “Peter” before he became an Apostle. Matthew 4:18 says “And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Every one born of a woman on this earth has a story, starting or beginning. Here, we see “Peter” as a human being on earth with spirit, soul and body. Christ also saw Peter with his brother Andrew, meaning Peter came from an earthly family as you and I. Peter was also engaged in an occupation of fishing because he was casting net at the sea of Galilea. God uses humans to fulfil His purposes on earth. And every human has as story and must go through the process to become what God has destined. Beloved, you can’t jump the process and start calling yourself names. Allow God to take you through the process and you will be refined as gold to do exploits for humanity and Kingdom. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
Precious Father, I thank You for the ability to go through the process and learn whatever You have destined me to know for the total success of my life. I avail myself to experience the process to be a better person in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !
Pray and thank Papa God for continually empowering you to go through the process.
You are not safe until you are saved. Believe in Jesus Christ Now, if you haven’t.
