ONE divine personality who runs through the Holy Scriptures is God’s Spirit, who is called the Holy Spirit. He has a great ministry within and upon the life of the New Creation. This He does by helping them with His power. He is the power agent of God who executes the actions of God. *Jesus spent quality time to unveil His essence to the New Creation to prove that no one can live an effective Christian life without intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit.* To ignore Him means you embracing a powerless living.

The power of the Holy Spirit implies the influence, strength, ability and enablement of the Spirit. We live in the world of powers. Occultic kingdom wants power; the enemy wants power so the sons and daughters of God cannot be devoid of the highest power. Yes, there’s no power above God’s power. According to our opening text, the Apostle prayed that God would fill the saints with all joy and peace in believing.

Thus, the joy and peace that come into a person’s life after he has believed in Christ should abound or increase by the God of hope. And this is made possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in you is to empower you to bear godly fruits and the power of the Spirit upon you is for serving God and exercising authority over situations above the natural. Beloved, make a decision to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit at all times. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for Your Sweet Holy Spirit who is actively in me and upon me. Thank You for filling me with hope, joy and peace in believing. Thank You for causing me to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am living an influential life by the Spirit in Jesus Name.
