24/7 DOXA Content, 26th May-POWER TO FULFILL GOD’S PURPOSES

BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Do you know Peter went to fishing after the death of Jesus Christ? (John 21:3) Come to think of it, why would someone who had followed Jesus for three years easily attend to fishing leaving the work of the ministry? He still saw fishing in his plans. He hadn’t caught the revelation of God’s plans and purposes for his life. He still had fishers of fish mentality than fishers of men.

So Jesus admonished him to love Him and take care of the flock (John 21:15-18). Jesus also assured them that the Holy Spirit will come and empower them according to our focal text. In other words, it takes the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to full divine purposes. The word “power” means ability, efficiency and might. The Holy Spirit comes with power, efficiency and might in you, with you and upon you to carry out the purposes of God.

You cannot serve and carry out God’s purposes with your fleshy strength, you will quit on the way. You need the empowerment of the Spirit to succeed in life. Beloved, with the power of the Holy Spirit, you are sure to carry out the purposes of God for your life. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen !

I DECLARE
Glorious Father, I thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit. He is my all in all Resources to carry out Your purposes for my life. I lay before Him my weakness and rely on His power, efficiency and might to run the race that is set before me to the end in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
