FAVOURED greetings Cherished one. We have learned that the Book of Acts is a compendium of what Christ power could do through the Apostles and the early Christians. It is sure evidence that Christ can also use us to do great and mighty acts in this end time. It is not God’s aim for us to read the Bible and ignore the supernatural power behind the events that happen. Our focal text was the reaction when the Jews saw the miraculous healing power of Christ released through Peter and John in Acts 3:6.
The authorities being amazed summoned them to know the secret of their power. They quizzed them “By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?” The word “power” used in our focal text is the Greek word “dunamis”. Dunamis refers to the ability or strength which ignites uncommon changes or transformation in a person or being. Dunamis is a miraculous power inherent in the supreme being. So the Sanhedrin knew that it would take a supernatural power or higher power to heal a man lame from his mother’s womb (Acts 3:2).
The good news is that that power is alive in you right now if you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Hebrews 13:8 affirms that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Beloved, there is power in the Name of Jesus Christ to cause the changes you need in your situations. Practise putting the Name to work and you’ll see tangible results. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for giving me the powerful Name Jesus Christ. I believe the Name contains supernatural ability to bring positive results in all facet of my life. I receive a deeper revelation to put the Name to practise for a more glorious effect in my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
