BEING alone may be good with its own advantages but it’s not the best in that two are always better than one and a threefold cord is hardly broken (Eccless 4:12). Apart from our biological family, there are other good relationship we encounter in our church, workplace, school, and neighborhood. It is good you maintain such good relationships. Our focused scripture unveils the need to bond with others for loneliness is not the best for success. Sometimes, you can’t succeed in isolation. You will definitely need someone’s input to live a blessed life. Even a seller needs a buyer.

Adam had Eve as helpmeet. Abraham had Sarah as wife and other servants. Moses had Joshua and Caleb as helpers. A time came when the whole Nation of Israel needed the help of Rehab, the harlot (Joshua 6:17-26). David had his boss’ son, Jonathan, as his bosom friend. Jesus had the twelves disciples to help Him fulfill the Father’s business. Apostle Paul had Timothy, Titus and other fellow apostles in ministry (2 Cor 8:23). Our focal text says if they fall, one would lift up the other. Yes, sometimes, you need the encouragement, help and support of others to stand up straight into success.

For two are better than one. Thus, two better heads, minds and hearts engaged in unity would always lead to benefits in relationships. Therefore, any addition to your life which would make your life worse is never worth embracing. The success of Jesus’ ministry today is as result of the twelve disciples who decided to carry what the Master told them (Mark 16:15). And Jesus cared so much about these disciples to the extent that when Peter’s in-law was sick He went with them to heal her (Mark 8:14,15). With this mindset, we can enjoy the glorious life as given to us in Christ. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Dear Faithful, I thank You for the people you bring my way to uplift me for the next higher level. I pray that You bless, lift and strengthen anyone sent into my life. Our glorious relationships are leading to fulfilling divine destinies in Jesus Name. Amen !
