THE PREDICTABILITY OF FAILURE

There are some names in the holy Scripture that usually referred to sinners (those who are alienated from the life of God in Christ). Such names include “the wicked, transgressors, ungodly, unwise, darkness, blind, foolish, gentiles etc,”. In our focal text, we see transgressors and wicked being referred here. Transgressors are those who consistently rebel against the righteous laws of God or those who break away from just authority to rule their own selves. The wicked mostly refer to those are guilty of their own sins but are hostile to God in their deeds. Such folks don’t recognise any SAVIOUR or redeemer.

They are comfortably living their lives as if there is no word of God or authority of God’s word. Such people unlike the righteous whose end or future is happiness, peace and success, will be destroyed and their end shall be cut off. Thus, they are deemed to perish and be consumed if they continually reject the Saviour’s love, mercy, grace and kindness; and live in transgressing the law of God in disobedience. Such a life is so predictable. *This is why it’s very dangerous to ignore Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.*

Someone might say but I know of sinners who are prospering or enjoying health and wealth. Well, the scripture answers it here “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” (Job 20:5). Even if it seems the sinner is enjoying on this earth, there is no inner peace and joy in him. He has no eternal life but eternal separation and punishment awaiting for him. When you see a sinner, he is a self-fulfilling prophecy of doom. He doesn’t actually need any prophet of doom to tell him to await doom. Therefore, believe in Jesus to avert all the future punishment that awaits the devil and his angels. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Dear Lovely Father, I thank You for the opportunity to believe in Your Son. I refuse to allow the voice and life of the wicked influence me. I live for You alone to enjoy the glorious future that only You can offer. Thank you for loving me so much in Jesus Name !
