THE identity of the New Creation is of utmost importance and should never be taken for granted. The identity of the believer comes to a glorious light in the resurrection of Christ. Because, you are alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:11). We’ve been given the Old Testament and the New Testament (made up of the Gospels and the Epistles). However, the Epistles fully unveil the identity of the Believer as found in Christ. The Epistles unveils the revelations of Christ concerning the New Creation (Galatians 1:12).
Our focal text reveals that we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. Yes, if you are born again, then you are God’s workmanship, not man’s product, or the effect of Adam’s mistake. You did not evolve or come from an animal species. God’s workmanship simply means God’s masterpiece or product created in Christ. Thus, you are the effect of what God did in and through Christ. This new kind of creation only happens in Christ; (If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation 2 Cor 5:17). Hallelujah!
Therefore, you must understand your creation in Christ in order to live in the light of it. The word “created” as used in the focal text conveys the idea of proprietorship of the manufacturer. You are framed, fashioned and designed in Christ. Therefore all decisions, thoughts and actions must be guided from that standpoint. You are God’s brand which is sealed in Christ Jesus. You totally belong to God. God owns you as His manufacturer (1 Cor 6:19). Praise the Lord! Cherished one, you are a new Creation in Christ, full of His person, character, power and mentality. Let this revelation influence your consciousness, thinking, decision and entire life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_I thank You Precious Mighty Father for the glorious revelations found in Your word. I accept, believe and live the truth that I am Your product or masterpiece created in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I am superior to anything outside of Christ. I graciously enjoy all the benefits that come from been created in Christ forevermore in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !_
