24/7 DOXA Content, 24th November-THE PREDICTABILITY OF SUCCESS

LIFE is such that some things are predictable. *God has not designed that we walk in gloominess or darkness but in the light of the truth.* We can predict certain habits or behaviour patterns due to the type of friends, decision making and lifestyles. For instance in the area of friendship, the Bible is very clear about the impact it can bring on one. There is a wise saying that “show me your friend and I will show your character”. The Bible says “Stop being deceived: “Wicked friends lead to evil ends.” (1Cor 15:33).

“Whoever keeps company with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm”.(Pro 13:20). That’s why it matters who you choose as a married partner. Who you marry can make or mar your life. The book of wisdom (Proverbs) says “It’s better to live in the wilderness than to live with a contentious and irritable woman.” (Pro 21:19). Relationships work like the seed-fruit principle. A bad seed will bring forth a bad fruit. This is very predictable. Our focal text unveils this truth on the righteous man.

It says “Mark” the perfect or righteous man. In order words, observe, keep your eyes or pay attention to the ways or lifestyle of the upright man. The perfect man or upright man is the one who is complete, morally innocent, having integrity and keeps on growing into maturity. The perfect man has embraced the life of God in Christ and consistently walks in the ways, principles and standards of God. Such a man has the brightest future. It doesn’t matter what he goes through now, his future is so glorious. It is best to live a righteous life. Living a godly life is more rewarding than living to please your flesh. The prediction of the righteous man is life, peace and all round success. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I thank You for giving me Your nature to live uprightly to enjoy all the tangible success ordained for the upright persons. I refuse to live to please my flesh. I enjoy all round success. My future is full of life and peace. I choose by grace to live for You alone all the days of my life in Jesus Name. Amen.
