PEACE BY MEANS OF THE BLOOD

Colossians 1 vs

20■”And God purposed that through ( by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.~《AMP》_

SINCE the fall of the human race through the first Adam, the relationship between God and mankind was marred. God became angry not only with mankind by even all creature to the extent that He cursed the ground (Gen 3:17). Therefore our opening text speaks of reconciliation of all things. The presence of sin caused man to be hiding and running away from God. (Gen 3: 10). However, things changed from worse to best because in the “fulness of time, God sent forth His son Jesus…”(Gal 4:4). The second Adam, Jesus, is the one approved and sealed by God to give salvation to all people in every generation (Acts 4:12).

Man in his own strength couldn’t do anything to earn God’s favour and righteousness but thanks be to God who sent Jesus to shed His precious blood on the cross for us all. Our opening text unveils that the blood of Jesus Christ established peace. The Prophet Isaiah through the inspiration of the Spirit wrote that _”His Name shall be called PRINCE OF PEACE (Shalom) (Isaiah 9:6)._ Through Him, we have peace with God (Rom 5:1). *Therefore, God is not angry with any man again but He is waiting and willing for all those who haven’t received Jesus to come unto salvation (Titus 2:11; 2 Pet 3:9).*

Cherished one, Jesus satisfied the wrath of God. His wrath is only on their sins and whoever will continually disbelieve the Son and ignore to embrace this dispensation of grace (John 3:36). Beloved, there is now peace with God so receive the gift of God, eternal life, through Jesus if you haven’t done so (Rom 6:23). All things have been reconciled to God by the peace which His blood brought to mankind. Rejoice and enjoy this peace. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER

Dear Lovely Father, I thank You for reconciling me to Yourself by reason of the blood. It is comforting to know that You are not angry with me again. Thank You for given me access to enter into the throne of grace. I praise You for the blood of Jesus that has established peace that surpasses human understanding in Jesus’ Name. Amen !
