24/7 DOXA Content, 23rd July-THE LORD IS MERCIFUL

ONE powerful nature revealed about God is mercy. The Lord is full of mercy and the Bible says His mercies endures forever (Psalm 136:1). And there is no one on this earth who is above God’s mercy. If God’s mercies endures forever then it is so for His children to enjoy. Mercy implies tender affection and compassion. Yes, God has passionate affection and tender compassion for His Children. Note mercy is not only for sinners or those who are not born again.

Mercy is really for all God’s children. When you are born again you are able to enjoy all the facets of His mercy in your life;* In terms of forgiveness of sins, protection, kindness, guidance etc. God showed us mercy when He gave us Jesus Christ. This is why you should be in Him to enjoy what is in Him.* It’s by His mercy that our sins are forgiven. Without His mercy revealed in Christ, each of us would have paid for the penalty of our sins. But God showed us mercy. And he still shows is mercy because He is merciful and plenteous in it.

Because of His mercy He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger for ever. Yes, Mercy is the reason why God hasn’t dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities but sent Christ as the propitiation for our sins. (Psalm 103:9-11). Cherished one, God is so perfect He has taken care of all your weakness, flaws, mistakes, sins, imperfections in the abundance of His mercy. Let His rich mercy cause you to live in holiness. Walk in the revelation of His mercy today for He is rich in mercy. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER 
Ever-Merciful Father, I thank You for showing me so much mercy through the Lord Jesus Christ. I take advantage of Your mercies and walk in righteousness in Jesus Name. Amen !
