BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text says when Peter began to sink, he cried out for help from the Lord. In other words, he cried “Master rescue me quickly from death.” Because whenever fear shows up, it comes alongside with death. So Peter was very wise to recognize his weakness and called for help. He called for help because He still believed no matter the situation Jesus could do something about it. Living a faith-filled life is absolute trust and reliance on Jesus and His ability.
At first, Peter took off his focus from Jesus but he brought it back again on Jesus. That’s why he cried out to Jesus for help. Jesus is the present help in times of need. You can’t come to a level where you become too big to need the help of God. Have you made certain decisions and choices that have led you to a very awful state? Have your choice created shame or disgrace for you? Has fear sent you to a regrettable and dangerous position?
Don’t worry, like Peter call for help and receive help. Whenever you call for help, Christ answers back with His word. So your help is in the word of God and with the Holy Spirit. Receive and apply the word. Stay in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Don’t wallow in your past mistakes. There is enough room in the hall of grace. His grace still abounds in greater measure. No man is the sole caretaker of God’s grace. Take as much as you need and enjoy life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for being my help forever. I receive help in every facet of my life. My eyes are opened to see the help that Your word, wisdom and Spirit provides. I am not without help because Your Holy Spirit is my helper. I am greatly helped in Jesus Mighty Name! Amen!_
