THERE is no doubt that the Christian life is lived in avalanche of miracles. Miracles are one way God deals with His Children. And as a child of God, you will need a miracle one way or the other. However, after that particular miracle, how do you live your life? Jesus performed a tremendous miracle according to John chapter six. This is where He fed the multitude with only five loaves and two fishes. Our focal text unveils what Jesus did after the miracle. When He saw that the people had eaten and were satisfied, He ordered His Disciples to gather the remaining fragments so that none will be lost.
Here, Jesus did that to prove and sustain the authenticity of the miracle. Thus, anyone who wasn’t around would believe a miracle happened upon seeing the remaining fragments. Also, Jesus communicated the need to be careful how they live after they had received a miracle. Thus, after receiving a miracle, it should positively influence your mind to think right. Moreover, Jesus teaches that in the midst of plenty or abundance, care must be taken not to waste what God gives us.
You should not misuse or abuse the abundance with the mindset that God will give you another one. No, God says value, gather, keep, collect and assemble what He gives in order to avoid wastage.Thus, keep and guide the blessings, gifts, potentials, abilities and strength God has given you so that they can be useful for tomorrow or the future. May you experience a miracle which will cause you to think right afterwards. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Dear Wise Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your word. I have learnt to even be reasonable in the midst of abundance to the extent that I gather to avoid wastage. By Your grace given me, I gather, keep and utilize the gifts, blessings, and potentials given me in order to influence my generation in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!_
