UNASHAMED TO STAND FOR GOD

Daniel 3
18.■”But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”~《KJV》

THE CHRISTIAN life is one of a glorious journey. Its joyous experience cannot be compared to anything in this world. Due to this glory nature, many oppositions have been the hallmark of it. No group of people have ever been hated, despised, persecuted and rejected than Christians in history. However, men, women and children from different aspects of life in different centuries have stood the test of time to defend Who and what they believe. In the old testament, three Hebrew men were recorded to stand for God and only God despite the threatenings of wicked men and kings.

According to Daniel 3, King Nebuchadnezzar raised an idol to be worshiped by all the inhabitants of the land. These men by name Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego who were then in captivity refused to obey the king’s decree or bow to the image. They spoke convincingly with all boldness to the king that they would not serve his gods. What a remarkable attitude exhibited by these men. Beloved, this is time to stand for God and His word as never before. You shouldn’t be a victim of ‘cold love’, because you are a victor through Christ Jesus.

Today, If you are in Christ, then you are at the safest place. Rekindle your love for God and the things of God. God is already ”standing” for you, it’s time you stand for Him in all your dealings. For those who believe in Him shall never be put to shame (Rom 10:11). Never feel ashamed to be called a Christian. Stand proud, stand bold for God despite oppositions and challenges. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

I DECLARE
In You I live and move and have my being. I choose to live and stand for You all my life. I am not moved by oppositions because greater is He that’s in me. Your love is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. I stand strong in the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah !
