GLORIOUS greetings Cherished one. Our focal text explains Jesus’ rationale behind loving your enemies, blessing them and doing good for them. According to Jesus, doing such things is a proof that you are a child of the Father. Note, He didn’t say a creature of God, but a child. This implies that loving your enemies and those who persecute you can only be possible when you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
When you become born again, there are certain things that natural people cannot do that you will do with easy or obedience. The Father’s Spirit and nature in you causes you to act like Him. He explains some powerful attitudes of the Father in heaven. One, He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good. He also sends forth His rain on the just and the unjust. Here, Jesus unveils the blessings of nature that comes from Papa God to all humans. Everyone is entitled to enjoy these natural blessings of the sun and the rain.
Thus, there are certain blessings that God has given to all human race that’s not based on their belief system. This explains why certain unbelievers can prosper in material or financial blessings and why they enjoy certain benefits from God. So Jesus used this analogy to say that love all, including your enemies unconditionally they same way your Father in heaven loves them and gives them the sun and the rain. Children of God conduct themselves like their Father. Don’t hold on to your ego, act like Him. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

Thank You Precious Father for the wisdom that comes from Your Word. I am born by You to act like You. I am inspired by Your love for the godly and ungodly, the just and the unjust. I am empowered to walk in love towards all by the power of Your Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
