In the Old Testament, God revealed different dimensions of His Names and functions. However, in the New Testament, Jesus unveiled to us the Fatherhood of God, a dimension many never knew in the Old Testament. God is truly a father figure. Fatherhood symbolizes an originator. But when Jesus was about to depart from the earth to heaven, He unveiled to us another dimension of the Father. And this dimension is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus introduced the Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit. In our focal text, Jesus called Him the Helper and the Spirit of truth. The Spirit is here to help disciples of Christ in all truth. He also unveiled a vital ministry of the Holy Spirit as the One Who shall testify of Jesus. *To testify means to be a witness that a person or experience has happened before or is true.* A witness sees, hears and experiences the multi-dimension of a person and what He does. So the Holy Spirit is the true witness of Jesus. Hallelujah!
Thus, He has the ultimate capacity to reveal the totality of who Jesus is and His ministry to the saints. Cherished one, Jesus left you in the hands of the Holy Spirit as your helper (John 14:18,26). Therefore it’s unnecessary to wallow in gloominess and ignorance. The Holy Spirit is light; He is the illumination factor. *He reveals the perfect Jesus to all who embrace His ministry. The Holy Spirit never lies because He is the Spirit of truth.* Rely on the Spirit to teach you all that concerns Jesus, the Christ; For He is the true Witness of Jesus Christ. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Thank You Precious Father for Your Sweet Holy Spirit. I humbly submit to the Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit to help and teach me realities of the Christ and His Kingdom. I refuse to wallow in ignorance because the true Witness of Jesus Christ lives in me. Hallelujah!_
