24/7 DOXA Content, 20th November-DO NOT BE ANGRY WITH GOD

FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. The apex of anger is when a person becomes angry with God. They are stories of people who expected something from God and never received it. Such folks concluded that God is not real and ended up being angry with Him. *But the question is how can you be angry with Someone you think doesn’t exist or has no power.* In the Old Testament, prophet Jonah got angry with God because God showed His rich mercies towards Nineveh by refusing to destroy them (Jonah 3:9,10).
Listen to the words of the angry Prophet “…That’s why I fled previously to Tarshish, because I knew you’re a compassionate God, slow to anger, overflowing with gracious love, and reluctant to send trouble. Therefore, LORD, please kill me, because it’s better for me to die than to live!” (Jonah 4:2,3). This is a voice full of anger towards the actions of God. But listen to what God told him “The LORD replied, “Does being angry make you right?” (Jonah 4:4).
Beloved, being angry towards God does not make you right because He knows better than you. When you think someone deserves punishment but God shows him mercy, it tells you how lovely God is. When you don’t understand the will and ways of God, don’t be angry with Him. His faithfulness is forever sure and His goodness endures forevermore. Stop being angry with God and trust Him in all your ways. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

Cherished Father, I thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. You are for me, not against me. You are with me not away from me. You are my help, not my destroyer. I put my trust in You and command all things to work together for my good in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
