24/7 DOXA Content, 20th February-THE STABILITY OF YOUR FAITH

FOCAL TEXT: Colossians 2 vs 5 ►► “For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.”~》World English Bible》

GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text is a powerful reality that reveals the heartbeat of the early Apostles who encountered Jesus Christ and what really inspired them as they continued in the Faith. It unveils the true and pure heartbeat of that generation of ministers. And as true disciples who are learning from the Lord Jesus, we ought to emulate and propagate the same spirit to the Brethren in Christ. The Apostle used a certain criterion to inspire the saints at that time.

Thus, he pressed on and engage them in the spirit to see how they were living. And he kept on rejoicing and seeing their order. The word ‘order’ as used here is from the Greek word “taxis” and it connotes an ordered disposition in battle array in a body of soldiers or militia. It symbolises a good arrangement or fixed succession of official dignity. Yes, there is a great sense of dignity that should surround your life in Christ. So it is a great honour to promote a high sense of orderliness and dignity as Christians.

Two, he also saw the steadfastness of their faith in Christ. Steadfastness involves how stable, firm, resolute, solid and established their faith was in Christ. They had an unshakable faith in Christ; Absolute unwavering faith in Him. So in those days, what brought joy to the Apostles was the orderliness and steadfastness of the faith of the brethren in Christ, not their acquiring or accumulating material wealth. Nothing should bring you much joy and fulfillment than your trust and stable faith in Christ Jesus. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ always abounds towards you.
Dear Faithful Father, I thank You for building up my absolute confidence in Christ. I humbly stay in fellowship with Your Word and Spirit to behave orderly and stable in my faith in Christ. I refuse to be moved, but firm and established in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !_

Pray that you remain orderly and stable in faith in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit._
