FRUITFUL greetings, Cherished one. Most people admire to be like those who have made great successes in certain areas of life. Many Christians desire to emulate the good people in the Bible. But God’s ultimate plan is for all to learn from His Son, Jesus Christ. Our focal text unveils that you are predestined to be conformed or molded to the image of God’s Son. All that we need for living a victorious Christian life is found in Him.

The word “conformed” used above comes from the Greek word “summorphos”, meaning “having the same form as another” or being fashioned like someone. Yes, God’s standard for His children is to attain to the “measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). Every believer is destined to be conformed to Christ in character, words, thoughts and deeds (Matthew 11:29,30). Galatians 4:19 says “until Christ be formed in you”.

The Apostles, Peter, Paul, John etc had Jesus as their major focus and mentor (1 Corinthians 11:1; Ephesians 5:1). They emulated Him in words, deeds, thoughts to the extent that the Jews and the high priests noticed “they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13). Beloved, let all your desires and pursuit be in conformity to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
Dear Lord Jesus, I love You so much for You first loved me. As You are so I am in this world. My life is predestined to be conformed to You in character, words, thoughts and deeds as I show forth Your praises by the power of Your Spirit in me. Hallelujah !
