SHALOM greetings, Cherished one. Yesterday, we were admonished to be steadfast and immovable in the victory Christ gave us over sin and death. Today, our focal text unveils that while we remain steadfast and immovable in His victory, we should always abound in the work of the Lord. Thus, we should ALWAYS increase, excel and be outstanding in doing more than enough in the service of the Lord as ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). The work of the Lord involves the business of telling others to believe in the only begotten Son of God as the Saviour (John 6:29).
Yes, it comprises making Jesus known to our world of contact. Whichever area you have been gifted or called, always abound and work diligently for the Lord. Do not relent because we are workers together with God and ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 6:1; 5:20); We are to do what Christ would have done if He was on earth here. Refuse to give in to excuses and procrastination. God is counting on us to INFLUENCE the Nations with the gospel (Mark 16:15/ Matthew 28:18,19).
Contribute in any way you can to make sure the work of the Lord is prospering. You don’t need any title or accolades to engage in the work of the Lord. The Holy Spirit is your greatest and trusted Partner to help you excel in the work of the Lord. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for counting me worthy as Your minister of reconciliation. I graciously rely on Your Holy Spirit for constant empowerment to increase more and more in Your work in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
