JOYFUL greetings to you, Cherished one. Our focal text unveils that those who remain steadfast and immovable and abound in the work of the Lord should have a knowing that they are not labouring in vain. Thus, all those who abound in the work of the Lord should be confident that nothing they do for Him is a waste of time or effort. Guard yourself with this reality. Your labour in Him is not a useless or wasted moment. God takes cognizance of all you do for His work. He doesn’t forget your labour in Him. Sometimes, when you are engaged in the work of the Lord, many think you are wasting your time. Some are of the mind that you don’t have anything “better” to do with your life. But, remember, working for the Lord is the best thing to do in this life.
No one has ever served or worked for the Lord faithfully and run at a lost. Abounding in the work of the Lord is always gain, despite the challenges. God pays best because He is a rewarder. Yes, He is good and kind, not a cheat (Hebrews 11:6). Your persistent labour of love, sacrifices, giving, and preaching the gospel will never be a waste. Jesus assured all Kingdom labourers of both earthly and heavenly rewards (Mark 10:30,31). Keep working for the Lord. It is a living sacrifice before Him which calls for glorious crowns of rewards. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for putting me on Your reward scheme as I graciously labour for Your Kingdom. I am very confident that my labour in You will never be in vain. I am enjoying the rewards of my labour in You in all forms of blessings in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
