BLISSFUL greetings, Cherished one. Thanks to Papa God for lavishing His grace on us to see this glorious day. We have learned how relevant it is to tell others to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. This is very vital because that was the MAJOR assignment for Jesus. He came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). *And the only way the sinner can appropriate salvation is to believe the One who died for his sins.* However, someone may ask is it only believing in Christ Jesus that makes one saved?

Such a question is not answered based on man’s reasoning or intellect, but according to the “Saviour’s very own words”. Our focal text is the very words of Jesus, the Saviour Himself. And if you take Jesus to be who He says He is, then you ought to take His words as the final authority and never add your own to them. Jesus never minced words or spoke for flattery sake. He meant all that He said because He is the truth (John 14:6). He said whoever believes in HIM (and His gospel) will be saved. Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemus confirms this reality. Jesus told him: ” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him SHOULD not perish but HAVE everlasting life.” (John 3:16).

According to John 6:28,29, Jesus told those who were seeking signs and wonders when they approached him with a question: “Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God? Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE IN HIM whom He sent.” So you receive salvation when you BELIEVE IN HIM (Jesus, the Christ). Yes, salvation is NOT in observing a day, law, commandment, work or confession; but in the Person of Christ. Brethren, on the matter of salvation, believing in Jesus Christ is enough. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for giving me Jesus as the author of my salvation. I am saved, sound, secured and preserved in Him forevermore. I receive fearless confidence and boldness to tell others about my Saviour. I refuse to keep quiet because I am a minister of reconciliation. Hallelujah!
