FAVOURED greetings, Cherished One. In terms of persevering in prayer, one may say “I prayed the whole of last year, but I did not see anything”. Wait, who told you that you didn’t see anything? *If you prayed according to God’s will, your prayer is never a waste and will never go unanswered.* Also, be conscious of this truth that not all answers to prayer are physical. There are some of your prayers that have been answered in the spiritual realm and will manifest later.
Such answers may come in the form of having a peace of mind and joy that cannot be quantified. The Holy Scriptures gives more than enough evidence that God is a prayer-answering God. Note that not all prayer is for “seeing something” in your life. *Prayer has a way to condition the state of your heart and mind. Consistent prayer changes or works on your heart and moulds your attitude towards God.*
There is a “spiritual current” that flows from God to you during prayer. Prayer is an avenue which engages you to function effectively in the realms of the spirit. Beloved, there is no substitute for prayer. Yes, everything has its proper place and nothing can replace your prayer life. This year make a personal commitment to pray at all times. Pray for your business, marriage, education, spiritual life, family. Don’t wait for problems mob up on you before you start praying. Persevere in prayer for it is a glorious arena for fellowship and total edification (1 Corinthians 14:2). The rich grace our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER-
Prayer Answering Father, I thank You for the privilege to persist in prayer. I receive answers to all the prayer that are in line with Your will. For I know that You will withhold nothing from those who love and are called by Your purpose. I am walking in manifestations of answered prayer in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
