24/7 DOXA Content 2019 WEDNESDAY, 9th October-NOT UNDER THE POWER OF DARKNESS

SHALOM greetings to you, Cherished one. *Understanding the redemptive work of Christ through the revelation of the gospel is one vital key to living the abundant life in Christ.* Folks who do not humbly submit to what Christ did for them always live like Old Testament folks. Today, many people parade in praying that God will deliver them from the hands of the devil. And that is not a new testament way of prayer. As a born again Christian, you are not in the hands of the devil anymore. Yes, God has not given you to your enemies.

There is no scripture in the new testament that says the born again is in the hands of the devil or enemies. All such prayer topics are man-made driven, out of fear and people’s interpretation of scriptures, not Christ’s. Many have mixed everything in the bible. But remember, the Bible is in different dispensations. We are in the dispensation of enjoying the Kingdom of God’s dear Son through the word of His grace. (Acts 20:32). We have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness as stated in our focal text. We are not about to be delivered by God. Hallelujah!

To read the Bible without taking cognizance of the various tenses will always make you a slave to your past, false prophets and teachers. Some people read the Bible with a circumstantial mindset or prejudice. They think because they are challenged in one way or the other, God’s word should also change to their thinking. No! God’s word would not change to suit your thinking and confession.* You must allow the Word to change your thinking. Being delivered here means rescued or dragged out of danger and placed into safety. You are in the kingdom of God’s dear Son, not in the hands of the devil. This revelation liberates you to serve God in freedom without intimidation or fear. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I am gloriously delivered from the hands and power of darkness. I am enjoying my deliverance in Christ. My spirit, soul and body is not bound unto the devil but made free by the power of God. I serve my Father with freedom and gladness of heart in Jesus Glorious Name. Amen!
