GRACIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. One powerful nature revealed about God is mercy. The Lord is merciful and His mercies endure forever (Psalm 136:1). And there is no one on this earth who is above God’s mercy. If God’s mercies endure forever then it is so for His children to enjoy. Mercy implies tender affection and compassion. The language of mercy says that “I have taken away the punishment you deserve.” God has passionate affection and tender compassion for His Children. Remember, mercy is not only for sinners or those who are not born again.
Mercy is for all of God’s children. When you are born again you are able to enjoy all the facets of His mercy in your life; In terms of forgiveness of sins, protection, kindness and guidance; God showed us mercy when He gave us Jesus Christ. This is why you should be in Him to enjoy what is in Him. It’s by His mercy that our sins are forgiven. Without His mercy revealed in Christ, each would have to pay for the penalty of his own sins. But God showed us mercy. And He still shows us mercy; for He is merciful and plenteous in it.
Because of His mercy, He will not always chide; neither will He keep His anger forever. Yes, mercy is the reason God hasn’t dealt with us according to our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities but has sent Christ Jesus as the propitiation for our sins. (Psalm 103:9-11). Cherished one, God is so perfect that He has taken care of all your weakness, flaws, mistakes, sins, imperfections in the abundance of His mercies. Let His rich mercy cause you to live in godliness. Walk in the revelation of His mercy and enjoy it all your lifetime. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Ever-Merciful Father, I thank You for showing me so much mercy through the Lord Jesus Christ. I take advantage of Your mercies and walk in righteousness and all that is in You in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
