GLORIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. The Lord is good and His goodness endures forever. His faithfulness is forever sure. His love lavished on us keeps us today. All glory be to His Name. Our focal text is one of the powerful texts in the epistles written to the believers. Many sermons about blessings have been centred only on material things. Material things are not evil but our focal text is higher than that. Material blessing is not exclusive believers. Before you seek or desire any form of blessings, you must be fully conscious of the spiritual blessings in Christ.
The Spirit of the Lord through the Apostle unveils that the Blessed Father HAS BLESSED US (not will bless us), check the tense used here. You are blessed, never forget this. What kind of blessings are we blessed with? He continued “all spiritual blessings”. So our blessings are first of all spiritual, not physical nor material. Where can you find “all spiritual blessings? He continued “in Christ”. So the truth unveiled is that when you are born again IN CHRIST, you are BLESSED with all spiritual blessings. Therefore, there are no spiritually CURSED children in Christ. A blessed Father cannot curse His children.
The word blessing used in our focal text means “to be well off, prosper or to speak well of” someone. So to be spiritually blessed means you are spoken well of by the Father because you are found in His Son, Jesus Christ. And in Him are found all the spiritual blessings, which include eternal life, salvation, righteousness,joy, peace, sanctification and every good thing in Christ. Beloved, you are blessed with every spiritual blessing. You don’t lack any spiritual blessings. You must, therefore, come to the consciousness of these blessings and enjoy them. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER
Blessed be My Precious Father for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in Christ. I am forever blessed and cannot be cursed. I am eternally saved and Christ holds me firmly. No power is mighty enough to pluck me out of His hands. I enjoy all these blessings in Christ in higher heights as I grow in the grace and the knowledge of His Son. Hallelujah!
