SHALOM greetings to you, Cherished one. For the past few days, we’ve been admonished by the holy scripture on the grace of God that brings salvation to all and the lifestyles associated with it. And from that powerful text in Titus 2:11,12, we’d seen the beauty of the grace of God revealed in Christ Jesus. *So we can conclude that His grace makes our lives more beautiful and meaningful in all forms of godliness.* But the question is “Do you fully manifest the teachings, training and lifestyles of God’s grace at once? Is everyone manifesting the lifestyles of God’s benevolent grace?
The answer is No. Grace received doesn’t automatically means grace living. And the main reason is that our growth levels in the grace are not the same. Some consciously do grow in the grace, some also refuse to grow. However, the good news that we’ve all been given the same chance or privilege to GROW in the grace. Our focal text admonishes us to grow in the grace that we’ve received. Yes, the same way it takes physical maturity to do or exhibit certain attitudes as a person, so it takes a lot of spiritual growth to master the lifestyles of God’s grace.
Yes! spiritual growth is necessary but no one grows within a day. Spiritual development in any sort will take some time to see manifestations. The grace of God gives all of us the space to grow into it. So take advantage of it and consciously grow into it before it becomes too late. If grace is a teacher, then we’ll have students in different classes. However, every student of grace must live up to the standard set forth by our Lord and Saviour Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.You grow in the grace as you consciously desire to increase in the revelation and knowledge of the Son of God (1 Peter 1:2). When you seek to know Jesus deeper, you will reflect higher growth of His grace. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Gracious Father, I praise Your holy Name for Your benevolent grace which is able to teach, train and discipline me into all godliness. I humbly submit to the Spirit of Your grace in order to know more and learn more from Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of my faith. I graciously pattern my entire life to walk in the lifestyle and likeness of Christ. Keep on helping me as I choose to grow in Your grace in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!_
