BLISSFUL greetings to you, Cherished one. There are two basic forms of education. One is formal education; The other is informal. Formal education is what you often attain from school/college with professional tutors. But informal education is self-learning that you mostly get outside a classroom. Many people stop learning when they graduate from formal education. Our focal text says that a wise person increases learning; he doesn’t stop learning. Most times formal education is strictly structured to bring you certain kind of information which are not practical but the information isn’t enough.

Proper education must give you the knowledge, skills, and values that will help you create and produce something worthwhile.* But this doesn’t come only by formal education. Therefore apply yourself to self-learning. *If all the knowledge you’ve acquired came from your school syllabus or curriculum, your success will not last.* Get books about life practical matters like marriage, business, finances, health, manners, moral values, and the likes. Beloved, when was the last time you read a book outside your area of study?

Get books of great, noble and influential authors and mentors; Authors with positive minds and influence that can direct and guide your destiny into glorious success. Apostle Paul told his son in the ministry to give attention to reading. That was self-learning. Above all, one great book for self-learning that speaks about almost everything is the Holy Bible. That’s where God educates you thoroughly. The education that God gives doesn’t only inform but rather transforms you all way round. Choose to learn many things aside what you learnt in school. It’s time to switch and add it up with self-learning. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you always.

PRAYER
Father of glorious knowledge, I thank You for this wise counsel. Learning is the activity of the wise. Therefore I attend to self-learning. I receive guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit to learn whatever I am supposed to attain for glorious success in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
