GLORIOUS greetings to you Cherished one. “OCCUPY TILL I come” simply means do business till Jesus comes. One powerful treasure given to us to occupy our world is the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are commanded to preach the GOSPEL to every creature (Mark 16:15). The gospel is the power of God to salvation to them that believe (Romans 1:16). All those who are saved received the gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). The glorious gospel is light (2 Corinthians 4:4) and no one lights a candle and hides it under a basket (Matthew 5:15).
Make it a point that everyone around you who doesn’t know Jesus will receive and believe the gospel. Moreover, all talents and gifts (whether natural or supernatural) should aim at occupying the world with the gospel. If God is not glorified by what you do, then you are not up to the task assigned to you. Occupy! You can’t give excuses because He gave gifts to everyone. Today, there are so many different ways to occupy your world with the gospel.
You can do it using your gifts, talent or profession, money, internet, job or business. You may not stand on the pulpit to preach but you have a treasure in you as a means to occupy your world with the gospel. Receive much strength, wisdom and grace to occupy till He comes. Carry on with the gospel business, for there is so much profit in it. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for the opportunity given me to occupy my world with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which brings salvation to all. I am occupying by using the gospel, my talents, gifts and abilities given me. I receive more strength to occupy and conquer more territories for You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
