BLESSED greetings to you Cherished one. The subject matter of spiritual warfare has to be dealt with as God intends. First, we must understand this truth that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood or physical opponents (Ephesians 6:12). Since the warfare is not fleshy, it doesn’t need physical methods but spiritual methods or armoury. And one of the complete armour of God is the Sword of the Spirit which is called the word of God.
Thus, the Spirit has a sword to wage war and that sword is the Word which God speaks. Beloved, to wage any war on sin, devil, poverty, sickness, lack, death, curses without first knowing what God says about it equals to failure. The word is living, active and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). God’s word is an all-inclusive weapon; it is like fire; it is also like a hammer (Jere 5:14; 23:29); it’s a weapon that breaks, uproots and destroys anything that opposes the knowledge of God.
For instance, when a sinner receives the gospel of Christ, the light of the word comes directly as weapon to “destroy” darkness. When you receive the word about healing, it goes right away to destroy sickness. There is more than enough power in it to do whatever it talks about; for God is never separated from His word. Beloved, get to know the word of GOD, understand it as a sword and just apply this powerful weapon in faith against all fiery darts of the enemy. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
I DECLARE
In the Name of Jesus, I am more than a conqueror in Christ. So no force or power or demon has any authority over my life. I keep them under subjection by the powerful force of God’s word. All sorts of knowledge, imagination and forces that oppose God’s idea about my life are cast down, crushed and destroyed by the power of word in Christ. Hallelujah!
