Jesus Christ is not only the same yesterday. He is the SAME TODAY. The ‘’today version” of Jesus Christ talks about the time this particular text was inspired and written and also refers to our current day or era. Thus He is the same in the 21st century. *His person, nature, power, wisdom and reign haven’t changed, though things keep on changing.*
Hebrews 1:10-12 says _“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.” Today, many have come to believe in Him; and He has changed their lives into glory. Today, He is still saving, healing and prospering destinies.
What He did yesterday, He still does today. Today, His gospel is being preached to the poor. Today, the broken heart is mended by this same Jesus. Signs, wonders and miracles keep on happening. If you haven’t believed in Jesus, the Christ, now is the moment. If you have, activate your faith in His person, power and wisdom to enjoy a glorious life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Sweet Jesus, blessed be Your Name forevermore. Your kingdom reign. Your power and wisdom rule in all the earth. Since You are the same today, I enjoy whatever You stand for in my life. Hallelujah!
