BLESSED greetings to you Cherished one. By the authority of the holy scriptures, demons are not an imagination of the mind. They are real evil spiritual beings. As long as we remain on this earth, all principles whether natural or spiritual will keep on working because human or spiritual force will push certain buttons. So after the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, He commanded the disciples to go and preach the gospel to every creature. And those who will believe shall be saved and given authority to cast or drive out demons (Mark 16:15-17).
This is one of the signs that should accompany those who believe the gospel. They become empowered to cast out devils. Devils are synonymous with demons. Demons are evil spirits or messengers and ministers of the devil. Their purpose is to pervert and exert negative influences on people’s lives and situations. But the good news is that they don’t have power over the believer in Christ. They are inferior to the believers. So believers are commanded to cast out devils, not otherwise. Jesus knew that demons are responsible for most evil and wicked happenings or problems on this earth.
Therefore believers should not negotiate with them, but rather drive them out. There are certain happenings that defy medical science and human reasonings and such demand supernatural power of God. To cast out devil means to drive them out. It also means compel them out or exercise authority over them. Send them out from a person, environment or situation. Beloved, you are to do this using the authority in Jesus Name. The Name of Jesus Christ is highly exalted and endowed with mighty supernatural power to ransack all the plots or works of demons (Philippians 2:9-11). Don’t keep quiet and rely on the wisdom of men. Open your mouth and exercise authority over demons and their evil activities. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
I DECLARE
I am heir of God and joint-heirs with Christ full of His power and anointing to cast out devils and destroy all their works. I am superior to devils and exercise authority over them. I rule and reign over them in victory in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
