Shalom greetings to you, Cherished one. ONE vital group to pray for is leaders. Different kinds of leaders exist in different fields such as – governments, ministers, MPs, pastors, kings, managers and any type of leadership that has influence on people. Leaders are the ones always on the frontline. In times of challenges too, they are also on the war front, therefore they need your fervent prayers. In most parts of the world, leaders are mostly criticized and tagged by so many “stuffs”.
To add up, a certain group of people don’t even celebrate or appreciate the efforts of their leaders when they are alive except when they are called to glory. Beloved, Christians are to come to the knowledge of the truth about their influence on leaders through fervent prayers.* Always speaking ill of your leaders will make matters worse, not best. Praying for them is one best way to support them spiritually to align with the desires of God in the nations, cities, businesses and ministries.
Our focal text says praying for them will cause us to lead in godliness and a peaceable life. So wherever these are absent, it’s a sign that prayerlessness is prevailing there. Yes, your leaders need your prayers. Be motivated by love and passion and keep praying for your leaders for God delights in it.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Dear Glorious Father, I bow my knees and heart to You in prayer for kings, presidents, ministers, pastors and all those in authority. I pray the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened about the essence of the salvation, godliness and peaceable life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !_
