BLESSED greetings to you, Cherished one. The holy Scripture says it is only the living who can praise the Lord. It is also true that only the living can opt for positive change, transformation or repentance. To repent means to change your mind or turn around to the right direction. As long as you live in this worldly system, there are many of its ways that’ll try to get you daily. Many of such things knock on your door daily through lust, bitterness, media, internet etc.
However, it depends on you whether to open the door for good things to enter or for bad stuff. And the truth of the matter is that everyone is given an opportunity or option to either say yes or no to life’s choices. As God’s lovely Child, His grace has appeared to you to teach you how to live your life worthy unto the Lord as stated in Titus 2:11,12 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.”
Therefore as unveiled by our focal text, today when you hear His voice or word, do not harden your heart; rather take advantage of His voice or word as a choice or opportunity for positive change. As you do this, His power will enable you to opt for positive change in your character, decisions, words, thoughts, deeds and every aspect of your life. Today, you have the opportunity to rise up and dominate any negative thing drawing you back to failure, shame or ungodliness. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Cherished Father, I thank You for wisdom, power, ability and direction that I receive from Your voice. Today as I adhere to Your voice, I refuse to harden my heart. I take advantage of Your word to opt for positive change in every area of my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
