Glorious greetings to you, Cherished one. Yesterday, we learned about the great deliverance where God through Christ rescued mankind from the power or kingdom of darkness. Anyone who believes in the Saviour as the Son of the living God appropriates this reality into his or her life. Therefore, you must know the essence of this great deliverance. One essence of the deliverance Christ brought to you is freedom. Yes,you are liberated from the claws of the devil, sin and anything ungodly. You are no longer a slave to the devil, fear or sin.
You are no more in spiritual chains. You are free to live for God. The fear which brings one to bondage has been conquered by this great deliverance (Romans 8:15 ). Yes, you can’t believe in Jesus and still be in bondage to devil or fear. You are rescued from danger, eternal penury and condemnation. Since you are liberated, there is freedom in your spirit man. Thus, your spirit man is alive unto God and righteousness (Ephes 2:1). You now have a good taste and love for the things of God and dislike the pleasures of the world. You can communicate and have fellowship with God without fear or intimidation (Hebrews 4:16).
You’re also have freedom in your soul; because your soul is saved and delivered from danger. Your soul is now subject to the right Master. Therefore, your mind is no more blinded ( Cor 4:3 4). You can begin to make better decisions. Any devilish spell or scale on your eyes is taken off. Finally, your body is liberated from the dominance of lust and evil pleasures. For it is written your body is the temple of the living God. Cherished one, there is great freedom in the great deliverance Christ brought to you. Never take them for granted. Refuse to be enslaved by anyone or anything ungody. For you are completely delivered and made free. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Precious Father, thank You for delivering and making me free from the power of darkness. I rejoice that You’ve translated me into Your glorious kingdom full of great freedom. My spirit-man is alive to you. My soul is saved and preserved in You. My body is Your temple to use for Your glory in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
