GLORIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. Scripture has proven that Jesus is for everybody. Apostle Paul says “For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him” (Romans 10:12). Yes, Jesus is for everybody; Salvation is for everybody. And the gospel is still God’s power unto salvation to them that believe. However, people will not automatically call and believe in Jesus. Yes, the gospel won’t be preached automatically except you and I do it consciously.

Our focal text makes a very intelligent analysis of the gospel and the means by which it should spread and be received. First, a preacher must be sent to preach the gospel. As he preaches, people will hear and believe the gospel. When they believe it, they will call on the Name of Jesus for salvation. It takes a preacher with the true Gospel to be sent for people to hear about the Saviour. In order words, they need a believer on a mission for Christ to preach the gospel.

Beloved, note that our focal text didn’t ask “How can they hear without a Pastor, Teacher, Prophet, Apostle, Evangelist, Bishop or Reverend”. In other words, you don’t necessarily have to be called into the ministry offices before you can preach the Gospel to others. No, he used “a preacher”. A preacher could be any believer in Christ who can proclaim Jesus Christ in the public; Yes, a herald of the glorious gospel. This preacher is a believer on a mission. Preaching the gospel is for every believer. Just tell the world about the Person and the message that saved you. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

I DECLARE

I am a believer sent on a mission for Christ. I believe the gospel of my Lord Jesus Christ is the only power of God unto salvation. Therefore I refuse to keep quiet about it. I shout it out on the streets unto the mountain tops. Many are coming to the Kingdom as I am empowered to preach the gospel of salvation to my world of contact in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
