Greetings from the throne room of the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ unto you, Cherished one. There are different forms of gathering. Every gathering comes with it own purpose, significance or relevance. However, there is a different kind of gathering that far exceeds any social gathering. That’s the gathering of the saints in the Name of Jesus Christ. What makes this gathering so special is that their gathering attract the very presence of the Spirit of Christ. Our focal text are the very words of Jesus Christ. He used the word “WHEREVER”. Wherever means everywhere.
Here, Jesus proves Himself as God. For if He wasn’t, He couldn’t portray the picture of being omnipresent. And God is everywhere; True, He is omnipresent but His manifested presence that blesses and transforms lives is not found everywhere. God responds to those who call Him in spirit and truth, from the sincerity of their heart in faith. He said He would be present in a gathering that’s done in IN HIS NAME, not any type of gathering. To gather in the Name of Jesus Christ means to gather in the recognition of His person, authority, power and word. It also means acknowledging the essence of His manifested Spirit. And His presence makes the significant difference.
Christ shows up in the gathering where He is recognized as Lord. And the scripture says _”Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2Co 3:17)._ So He being present is not to count your sins or your mistakes. Christ is not there to monitor your downfalls or weakness and write them in a book of remembrance. No, He is there to strengthen, comfort, guide, nurture and admonish. His Spirit causes sweet liberty for the brokenhearted, oppressed and depressed. Be mindful of this truth and love the gathering of the saints. Find a local church where they believe in the presence of Christ and fellowship with them. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Precious Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for the sweet presence of Your Spirit in my life. Thank You for hosting the gathering of the saints with Your presence, word, power and influence. I enjoy the glorious liberty and blessings that come from Your presence. Hallelujah!
