24/7 DOXA Content 2019 SUNDAY, 8th December-INSPIRING COMFORT

GLORIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. Whichever book you spend your time with has influence on you one way or the other. Mathematics and Language students can testify to this. Do you know the holy scriptures is the Language of God? Yes, the Scriptures unveil to us to learn God’s language. *His language of the gospel, love, peace, righteousness, grace, greatness, prosperity.* One language of the scriptures aside endurance is COMFORT. Our focal text says we can receive comfort from the scriptures.

The Greek word for “Comfort” is “paraklēsis”, with the root word “parakaleō” which means to call to one’s side. God uses the scripture to call you to His side of thinking, attitude, mindset and lifestyle. This revelation affirms the truth that the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Scriptures, not any man; Because one ministry of the Holy Spirit as revealed by Jesus is “Comfort”. Verily, Jesus referred to Him as the “THE COMFORTER”. (John 14:16). Therefore, the sacred scriptures serve as the arena of comfort. The more you spend time with God in the holy scriptures, the more comfort you will have in this life.

For the Comforter will inspire in you so much comfort. Comfort refers to consolation, relief, aid, support. In other words, that which affords solace or refreshment. Are you heartbroken, downtrodden, rejected, hurt and feel helpless or hopeless? I present to you to the holy scriptures, which contain words of comfort for all situations and calibre of people on the earth. Cherished one, staying sorrowful is unnecessary. Committing suicide won’t solve anything. But resort to God’s word and allow Him to inspire great comfort in you for this life’s journey. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
My Lovely Father of Comfort, I thank You for the ability of Your word to comfort me and bring great refreshment in my life. I refuse to allow sorrow and challenges to dominate my life. With the Comforter, I am comforted, consoled and refreshed. I rise up in the power of Your comforting words and dominate every challenge in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
