GRACIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. When a believer acknowledges the grace of God upon his life and begins to take advantage of it and walk in it in excellence, diligence and discipline, he attracts an increased grace. Yes, when you work with God’s grace bestowed on you, you qualify for more. Our focal text unveils that God gives MORE grace. The Greek word for “more” is “meizōn”. And it means greater, larger, elder or stronger. Beloved, you can have more grace from God by POSITIONING yourself as a humble person.
The holy scriptures say God resists the proud. The proud is the one who doesn’t humble himself under God’s standard or word. The proud person also takes people for granted and despises others by treating them haughtily. Such people raise themselves above others and demean them. This kind of life is an ungodly set-up which invites the almighty God to oppose or resist your upliftment. But the humble is different. He takes God by His word and loves his neighbour.
He extends kindness and love to His fellow human being. He lives by the measure of God’s word and doesn’t raise himself on people to demean them. Such folks are the ones who qualify for an increased grace. Yes, the grace works STRONGER for the humble. They are producers and multipliers and therefore calls God’s attention to promote them to a higher level. Cherished one, God gives more grace to the humble, diligent, disciplined and excellent person. Walk in this revelation for a greater upliftment. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Gracious Father, I thank You for Your gracious word which is able to build me up and give me an inheritance. I walk in the spirit of humility to position myself for glorious advancement. You give more grace. I receive more grace to be excellent, diligent, disciplined and fulfill the assignment given me in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
