24/7 DOXA Content 2019 SUNDAY, 22nd September-THE NATURE OF GOD

GLORIOUS greetings to you, Cherished one. The nature of God is revealed in the written word. The first book of the Bible, Genesis, informs us of the beginning of creation. Our focal text says “In the beginning God…” This reveals to us the first nature of God that He existed before the beginning. Thus, He existed before time; therefore He is not bound and limited by time. He existed before all things. So no man or scholar, archaeologist or holocaust has the ability to determine who God is, except Himself.

The nature of God when understood will change the way you respond to Him. It is very important to spend precious time to study, know and understand the nature of God as revealed in the holy scriptures. The book of Genesis reveals to us a lot about the nature of God. The word nature simply means ” innate characteristics of a person or thing”. Thus, what someone will tend by his own constitution, to be or do. One’s nature reveals his kind, sort, character or quality. And knowing the nature of the One who created you is very vital, else you cannot have effective fellowship with Him. Our focal text unveils that God created the heavens and the earth.

Yes, God creates; He is the creator. That is another vital nature of God. He created all things visible and invisible including humankind. You did not create yourself. The herbs, plants and celestial bodies did not come by themselves; God created them (Genesis 1:1-31). God’s nature is revealed in Who He is and what He does. He is the self-existing God. Mankind relies on God for relevance in life. One thing about the nature of God is that He knows the best and perfect thing to do without waiting for anyone to tell or show Him. He sees the end from the beginning and acts in His best interest. That makes him God. Rely on God’s nature and enjoy the benefits of all that He has created for you in mind. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
My Precious Father and Creator of all good things, I thank You for creating all things for my benefit. I thank You for making me a partaker of Your divine nature through Christ Jesus. I manifest Your nature in every aspect of my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
