24/7 DOXA Content 2019 SUNDAY, 15th December-ORDAINED TO WALK IN GOOD WORKS

PRECIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Apostle Paul through the epistles has established the fact that you are God’s masterpiece created in Christ Jesus. The continuation says you are created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS. Note it did not say you are created in Christ TO DO good works, rather created unto good works. *This means you are created in Christ to partake of the good works already found in Christ.* For instance, there is a proper way to love as a New Creation; and that way can only be seen, found and learned in Christ.

So when you become born again, you are introduced to know and learn how to love as Christ loves. Good works involve excellent, distinguished, upright and honourable works. And you can’t of your own power create these virtues for Christ to approve or accept them. They are already found in Christ. So you are to know and submit to the good works in Christ and walk in them. This is true because the focal text continues that “good works which God has BEFORE ordained that we should walk in them”.

God has already ordained that we should walk in the good works in Christ. Our good works become accepted only when we walk those that He ordained in Christ. *To be created unto good works means to be created to live the gospel and life of Christ, which is manifest in His works and character.* Because as Christ is, so are we are in this world (1 John 4:17). God has only ordained that we walk in good works, not otherwise. Therefore, He has empowered you to so. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I am God’s special masterpiece created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Therefore, I walk with the mindset, character, attitude and Spirit of Christ. I graciously shun whatever doesn’t constitute good works in Christ. His love, peace, joy, faith, and glorious have enveloped my entire life. So i bear the fruits of His Spirit in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
