PEACEFUL greetings to you, Beloved. God is responsible for the breath of life in you; but you are responsible for what you use the breath of life for. Each day is God’s gift and investment to make you progress in life. Therefore you should understand and appreciate God’s precious input into your life. When God wanted to destroy the earth in Noah’s time, He gave the exact design and measurement of the Ark. Design means a plan or pattern or composition which spells out the intention and function of a thing. Order refers to the sequence of doing things well.
Papa God is a God of pattern; He doesn’t do things haphazardly. He is a planner. In Genesis 6:14, He showed the kind of wood that He wanted Noah to use for the Ark: “So make yourself an ark out of cedar, constructing compartments in it, and cover it inside and out with tar.” Our focal text and the subsequent verses portray God as a God of order and design. This means that Papa God is a thinker and a planner. Do you know that you can live an orderly life in God’s design? Yes, you can design your life in such a way that it suits God’s order.
God gave the measurement of the Ark to Noah. Why would God do that? First, to avoid wrong assumptions, trial and error and disorderliness. To LIVE out the best design God has for you, humbly submit to the order of His Spirit; Fellowship with His word daily in faith, obedience and patience. He will direct your life in glory. Cherished one, choose to live by design and order, not anyhow. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Father of All sound wisdom, I thank You for the ability given me to live an orderly life in Your design. I refuse to live disorderly. By the knowledge of Your will, I put my life in order to fulfil Your will and glory in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
