Ephesians 4 vs
28》” Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. ~《New King James Version, NKJV》
BLISSFUL greetings to you, Cherished one. Yesterday, we were admonished to work and eat our own bread. Thus, the holy scripture supports productive work of believers because it is a means to enjoy livelihood. A person who sincerely works is the one who can attract God’s blessing on his work. Due to the importance of work, the Apostle made a great emphasis on it as a means to have something in our focal text. Thus, working with your hands empowers material blessings.
Right teachings from God’s word to the new creation will correct so many errors including wrong and covetous prayers. There are Christians who are praying to claim what they are supposed to work for. Does that mean you cannot pray to claim anything? That’s not what I am saying. God’s favour in your life can attract certain blessings into your life that you’ve not worked for. But you cannot always make a doctrine of it. Our focal text warns and admonishes us to steal no more. In other words, we are not to engage in illegal means of acquiring material wealth rather work for it legally.
Stop praying to claim what you are supposed to work for. We are encouraged to labour, working with our hands what is good, that we may have something to give him who has need. So it is a loving duty to work to “HAVE SOMETHING” and also to give to those who have need. We are taught to work something which is good; that is, a work that conforms to godly values, honourable work, something legal and brings honour to Christ and your life. In terms of material blessings and financial blessings, we labour or work to HAVE, not just to pray claim. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
Precious Father, I thank You for blessing the work of my hands. I thank You for blessing my mind to think creatively and act productively something which is good. I refuse to be idle. Keep on opening doors of favour and opportunities that will inspire my productivity at higher levels for Your glory in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
◇ Enjoy A Blissful Saturday ◇
Pray and thank the Father for opening more doors of favour and opportunities to inspire the work of your hands.
