Proverbs 24 vs
10》” If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.”~》New King James Version, NKJV》
BLISSFUL greetings, Cherished one. Our existence on earth is not void of challenges. Jesus during His earthly ministry never lied to us; rather He told us that we shall have tribulation in this world. He said _”These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”_ (John 16:33). So the fact that we walk by faith doesn’t mean we wouldn’t face any challenges. *But faith gives us the wheels of persuasion and conviction to stay, endure and conquer every challenge.* (Ephesians 6:16).
Our focal says if you faint in time of trouble, it is a sign that your inner strength is small. Time of adversity refers to troubling or challenging times. To Faint also means growing weary, weak or tired to pursue a worthy course. In the natural sense, challenges aim to make you weary or falter, but in the spiritual sense, you must see them the opportunity for training and growth. So our focal text is admonishing us to build inner strength over any adversity rather than allowing challenges to overcome us. The text also spoke of small strength. This means that there is great strength. Therefore you need greater strength to stand in times of challenges. How do you build this inner strength?
Apostle Paul unveiled that Christ would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in your inner man (Ephesians 3:16). The only antidote to weakness or weariness is to draw your strength from Christ. Thus, position yourself in such a way that Christ would strengthen you with might in your inner man. Beloved, in the journey of life, we win from the power gained from the inside. Therefore build inner and spiritual strength by fellowshipping with the Living Word. Also, make God’s inspired word your daily bread. Feed your faith from the Word. Allow God’s word to renew your mind (thinking) and you will see challenges as bread. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
Father of all strength, I thank You for admonishing me to stay stronger even in times of adversity. I refuse to faint. I refuse to allow circumstances to overcome my faith. Rather I overcome any challenge as I am strengthened with might in my inner man in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
*◇ Enjoy A Blissful Saturday ◇*
Pray that God’s Spirit would highly empower you against any form of weakness and weariness.
