Freedom is joyful and lovely; and Jesus is the only true source of absolute freedom.* No one wants to be in bondage to anything or anyone. Nations under bondage seeks for freedom from oppresors rule. History has made it clear that slaves always cry for freedom. To be free presupposes that there had been certain form of entanglement, bondage and slavery. The Jews were bound under the laws of the Pharisees and traditions of the elders which were difficult for the people to obey.
Jesus saw that the behaviour of these folks always lead to sin. So _”Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.”(John 8:34 35 )._ Therefore there was the need to allow Jesus to make them free from the power of sin. Cherished one, one major assignment of Jesus was to save His people from their sins and give them eternal life in abundance (Matt 1:21/John 1:29;10:10,28).
Thus, to overthrow the power and dominion of Satan, sin and its effects on mankind. Only Jesus can make you free from the dominion of Satan, sin and death. If He makes you FREE, then you are truly and completely free. Jesus doesn’t give partial or occasional freedom, but complete freedom forever. Freedom involves liberty from any form of ungodly oppression. Have you believed in Jesus Christ, then you are free indeed. Live in the freedom Christ gave you in all peace and unspeakable joy. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Thank You Precious Glorious Father for making freedom available to me in Your begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I believe and rely on Him for complete and absolute freedom. I boldly declare that I am free indeed from the dominion of satan, sin, death and ungodliness. I am alive to the Living Word and enlightened by His Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !_
