BLESSED greetings to you, Cherished one. It is an established fact that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people. That same grace is also a teacher which trains, educate, instruct and discipline us in so many ways. The grace as a teacher shows what you need to do and what you shouldn’t do. In our focal text, we can clearly see that the grace of God teaches or trains you to deny ungodliness and worldly lust. *In other words, such grace doesn’t accept everything. It loves some things and hates some things.* Thus, it is selective.

The grace opens your eyes to deny what God denies and accepts what God accepts. So you can’t really deny ungodliness and worldly lust outside the grace of God; because the grace of God empowers you to love godliness. The word “denying” is in present continuous form which implies that it’s a thing you’ll keep on doing every time. “Denying” as used here means renouncing, refusing, rejecting, disowning or turning your back on something. So the language or principle of God’s grace says that you’ll keep on refusing or turning your back on ungodliness and worldly lust.

Ungodliness means acting unlike God. Thus, refusing to live or subject your life according to the nature of God in you. It also refers to a lack of reverence for God and the things concerning Him. Worldly lust refers to a passionate longing or craving for what is forbidden by God. The secular world desires so many things that God has forbidden by His word BUT God’s grace instructs us to always renounce those things. Beloved, the grace of God is an eye-opener. It gives you insight and foresight into what is godly and ungodly; Thereby putting you on track for to live for God in all your ways. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I thank You for the gift of righteousness and abundance of grace. Your grace opens my eyes to deny what You deny and accept what You accept. Your grace empowers me to live in godliness and walk in Your love. I declare a total dominion over every act of ungodliness and worldly lust by the power of Your grace in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
