FAVOURED greetings to you Cherished one. Psalm twenty-three is a very beautiful scripture that portrays a glorious picture of our fellowship with the Lord. As part of walking with God, He ushers you to enjoy His bountiful provisions of prosperity. He specially prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies. This is not just an ordinary banquet, but a magnificent banquet of blessings by the most generous and benevolent Host, Papa God.
The Complete Jewish version reads “You prepare a table before me, even as my enemies watch…” Meaning, they have no power to harm you in any way, because He has power to fully protect you. When God prepares a banquet or blesses you, He adds no sorrows (Prov 10:22). He rather adds security. Yes, God is more able to keep you safe from the harm of your enemies. As a new covenant child, there is no enemy so strong to “spoil” the party your Shepherd sets before for you. For His mighty presence is already with you. Hallelujah!
As you enjoy the prepared table of His grace, mercy, provisions and presence, the Lord continually anoints your head with the oil of gladness as His very distinguished child. Thus, the anointing to become fat or prosperous in all your ways is released upon you. Your cup keeps running over. Cherished one, it is time to fully enjoy the table set for you in Christ without any fear of the plots of the wicked one. For the One who prepares the table also secures it with His power. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen!
PRAYER
Gracious Father of grace and mercy. I thank You for the banquet of prosperity and blessings set for me to enjoy. Thank You that my brimming cup runs over in Christ. Your presence is my protection from all enemies. I thank You for anointing my head for greatness. I enjoy unending stream of blessings as my cup keeps running over in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !
