GOSPEL greetings to you, Cherished one. Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The truth brings freedom to your spirit and soul and refreshes your body. *One best way to extend the truth to make others free is spreading the same message that saved and delivered you from bondage.* The truth of God’s word in the epistles is called the gospel. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, God’s Spirit through Apostle Paul unveils some powerful truths about the gospel of Christ. He referred to the gospel as “the light of the glorious gospel of Christ”. So the gospel of Christ is glorious.
The gospel has light to release people from darkness. Our focal text also reveals the gospel as the power of God to salvation. The gospel of Christ is the surest message to make people saved, not insults, rules and regulations or commandments.The gospel of salvation is based on the person of Jesus Christ. It is not cemented on traditions of men or good works. It is very imperative to speak and spread the gospel of Christ and nothing else. The gospel is the good news of Christ based on His finished works. The gospel spells out the nature of God revealed in Christ. It is the message of ease, well-being and relief. It is the message that is too good to be true.
It is the message of God’s great benevolence and love towards sinners (Romans 5:6,8). Beloved, despite the glorious nature of the gospel, it will not spread automatically. People will not hear the gospel without you preaching it. Make up your mind to spread the gospel at all cost. Like Apostle Paul, you have to be most proud to proclaim the gospel of Christ. Let the joy of salvation in Christ push you to spread the gospel. Don’t be ashamed to spread the good news that saved you. Be thrilled for share with others. It is a great privilege to honour this task at all cost. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
PRAYER
Precious Glorious Father, I Thank You for giving me the glorious privilege to spread the glorious gospel of Christ to my world of contact. I refuse to be ashamed. I choose to be glad and most proud sharing Your liquid love to all nations. As I do this, the power in the gospel is bringing salvation to many people in Jesus Blessed Name. !
