NOW if Jesus pours His nature into you, then you can manifest the fruits of the recreated human spirit. Because you’ve received a newness of life; Your spirit, soul and body have become alive unto God. The holy scriptures opined that you become a new creation and old things have passed away, behold all things have become new (2 Cor 5:17). This implies that the life we live should reflect the life of the risen Christ not otherwise.*Therefore, you must constantly check the source of any form of ungodliness and resist it.
Ungodliness refers to any attitude or behaviour unlike God. In other words, it’s called “unChristlikeness”. For instance, Jesus is love. So you must check and be wary against any desire to hate your neighbour. The nature of hatred can’t be found in Jesus, so hatred is of the devil.*Jesus is full of faithfulness and truth. Therefore any desire to tell lies and backbite one another is not from Christ. Henceforth, it is expedient to LEARN from Jesus Christ as our focal text unveils.
Cherished one, the Adamic transgression caused the devil to release his natures into this world. However, as a New Creation, you must constantly know that the source of all forms of ungodliness is the devil. You must therefore stand your ground and fight the good fight of faith by God’s grace. We have no other option but to live, love, talk, think and act like Christ Jesus, because we are partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Glorious Precious Father, I thank You for Your glorious nature deposited in me. I am born again into the newness of life, attitude, thinking and behaviour. By Your grace, I know the source of all forms of ungodliness and resist it by faith. As a New Creation, I yield my members as instruments of righteousness in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
