THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS ENOUGH

28.¶For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. |KJV|
WHAT is it about blood that makes it so vital and different from other things. The scripture gives numerous references of animal sacrifices demanded by God in the old testament. The significance of blood cannot be overemphasised because, Leviticus 17:11 states that “…the life of the flesh is in the blood..” However, not all blood are deemed or worth the same price. The blood of cows or bulls cannot be compared to Jesus’ blood (Heb 10:4). Animal’s blood functioned or spoke for a time-limit, but there is a man whose blood works and speaks best things for eternity for every generation (Hebrews 12:24).
This is the blood of the only Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. His blood is blameless and spotless. His blood performs a multi-purpose function. It’s revealed in our opening scripture that His blood opens the page for the new covenant. *Thus His blood ushers all believers into the new covenant.* Also, He goes on to unveil that His blood is shed forth (distributed largely) for many for the remission of sins. Without the shedding of His blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Remission means ” release from bondage, imprisonment, guilt or punishment of sins. It also means forgiveness or pardon of sins; thus, letting them (sins) go as if they had never been committed.
The blood of Jesus also gives you the BOLDNESS to enter into the holy of holiest (God’s presence) without guilt or sin consciousness (Heb 10:19). You have direct access to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb 4:16). Cherished one, redemption is your birthright by virtue of His blood (Eph 1:7). Refuse to be entangled with anything less of the blood.*Refuse to live as if He shed the blood for Himself or as if Jesus never died. He did it all for you and I. The blood of Jesus is enough to handle whatever that concerns your life.* For it speaks better things than that of Abel. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all always.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank You for shedding your precious blood for the remission of my sins. I now have redemption; I am forgiven; I am released and made free from the shackles of guilt, punishment, dominion and imprisonment of sins. I praise You for doing all for me. I esteem Your blood highly for it’s enough for me. Hallelujah !
