GRACIOUS greetings, Cherished one. The knowledge behind prayer is as important as the prayer itself. Ignorance of God’s will can mess up the results of your prayer. As a New Creation, you must pray according to the knowledge of the revelation of the Son of God (Ephesians 1:16-23). Don’t just pray based on any “knowledge” you hear from the Bible but one that is centred on the Christ. You are a New Creation in Christ, don’t pray with an Old Testament mentality or revelation.
Whatever you do in the Kingdom that’s not backed by the knowledge of God’s Son can become void of results (Hebrews 1:2). Don’t pray based on the “revelation” of Abraham, Moses, David or Joseph or even Daniel. The revelation knowledge they had at that time was limited. This is very vital. Look at how Jesus prayed. He prayed as the Father taught Him not as the law or the Pharisees (John 8:28/ Luke 11:18). That’s why our focal text tells us the confidence we have in Him: if we pray according to His will, He hears us.
God’s will is revealed in Christ Jesus and His finished works. There is no better will aside from the one in Christ Jesus. This is where our confidence is, in Christ. When your confidence is in Christ, you are bold to ask and receive from the Father. Your confidence in Him is a sign of total trust and reliance on His ability to do exceedingly abundantly far above all you ask or think. Therefore grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ to enjoy great fellowship and results in prayer. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for the revelation to pray according to the knowledge of Your will revealed in Christ Jesus and His finished works. All my needs are supplied in Him. All my needs are met in Him. I receive the manifestation of God’s will in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
